Q. How much does it cost to rent a frozen drink machine?
A. The price is $100.00 for the machine and $25.00 per mix. One mix equals five gallons or 75 (9 oz.) drinks.
Q. Do you charge for delivery?
A. Yes. The delivery charge is based on mileage. The cost includes delivery, set-up, pick-up and cleaning.
Q. What kind of electrical outlet is required to run a machine?
A. The machine should ideally run off a 20-amp circuit. Each machine pulls 12 amps of power.
Q. Are the machines easy to use?
A. VERY easy. If you can get yourself an Icee at 7-11 then you can handle this! We will mix your first batch with you (or for you) and show you how to use the machine. We leave clear printed instructions. NO ICE NEEDED.
Q. How many drinks does one batch yield?
A. Each mix makes about 75 nine-ounce drinks. The machine will hold one whole batch. Our experience shows that usually half or more guests drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice. We recommend one batch for every 25-35 frozen beverage drinkers. Extra margarita mix is $25.00 and refundable if unopened.
Q. How long does the first batch take?
A. Approximately 45 minutes. Outdoors in high heat we recommend giving the machine a little longer. As long as you keep the machine full, there is no "down time" between batches for your event.
Q. Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?
A. The customer provides all liquor. Margaritas require 3 liters of tequila and 1/2 liter of triple sec. Daiquiri's require 3 liters of Rum.
Q. Are other kinds of drinks available?
A. Absolutely. You can serve Strawberry Daiquiris, Strawberry Margaritas, Piña Coladas, Banana Daiquiris, Rum Runner's, Frozen Cosmo, and Hurricanes. We also have Slushies for kids parties!
Q. How far in advance should I reserve my machine?
A. We recommend two weeks for office, birthday or traditional parties. The holiday season, party dates like Halloween, Christmas office parties and New Years Eve, we recommend four to six weeks. One machine will deliver frozen drinks for up to 75 frozen beverage drinkers. If more guests are expected, a second machine is strongly recommended.
Q. Can I use an extension cord with the machine?
A. We provide an extension cord for each machine. We have 25 ft and 50 ft- the machine can not operate on any cords longer than 50 ft.
